The benefit of our College Outreach Program is to provide students with access to college life through an annual three-day visit to a University of California campus, sponsored in conjunction with student-operated organizations.

Through a collaborative effort with 100 Black College Men of Santa Barbara, Akanke (To Know Her is to Love Her), and Imara Giza Watoto youth group, The Etu Schule Educational Project provides students with a three-day on-campus college simulation. Students receive academic training through a series of workshops addressing academic excellence, college admission requirements, self-awareness programs, and “manhood” and “womanhood” training.
In addition, students are assigned a collegiate host who is responsible for taking students to classes, study sessions, and social events. Along with the on-site curriculum, the College Outreach Program allows students the opportunity to interact with college recruiters and admission representatives. |
